Our client is a Swiss beauty and wellness company with 200+ people and headquarters in Zurich. They sell through a community of independent distributors (direct selling) and work in 8 languages across the EU and the UK, with multiple currencies and VAT rules.
Their e-commerce runs on Exigo: the online store, orders, subscriptions, promotions, loyalty points, and distributor data. All reporting and operational data lives in SQL Server.
They are looking for a Senior C#/.NET Developer to join their team full-time. You will take business features from idea to release, work with real e-commerce cases, and be the person who checks the quality of the code before it goes live.

Responsibilities

Take a business requirement, clarify it, build it, test it on production-like data, and release it;
Develop backend features in C#/.NET on top of the Exigo APIs;
Write and optimise T-SQL queries, reports, and data checks in SQL Server, including work with a reporting replica;
Handle e-commerce logic: VAT by country, multiple currencies, instalments, returns and refunds, recurring orders, promotions, and loyalty points;
Think through edge cases yourself, without needing every detail written in the spec;
Review code from other developers and act as the quality gate before release;
Work in the client’s sprints and repositories, directly with their team;
Use AI tools daily for coding, tests, data checks, and reading unfamiliar code, and be able to explain every change you ship.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial experience with C#/.NET;
Strong SQL Server skills: T-SQL, query optimisation, working with large data sets and reports;
Experience with e-commerce or similar business logic: orders, payments, taxes/VAT, refunds, subscriptions, promotions;
Experience owning tasks end-to-end, from requirement to release;
Experience doing code reviews and supporting less experienced developers;
Daily practical use of AI tools for development (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT);
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher.

Bonus points for

Experience with Exigo or other MLM / direct selling platforms;
Experience with multi-country, multi-language, and multi-currency online stores (EU / UK);
Basic knowledge of Liquid, Shopify, or similar templating.
