Our client is an established mobile game company with over 14 years of experience in the industry. The company specializes in multiplayer shooters for iOS and Android, including games, played by millions of users worldwide.

They are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst with a strong  background in applied statistics and mathematical modeling and hands-on experience in predictive modeling. The main focus of this role will be independently designing, building, and validating predictive models from scratch primarily for LTV and ROAS forecasting, to support marketing and product decisions.

Previous GameDev experience is welcome but not required. We are also open to candidates from FinTech, e-commerce, and other data-driven product companies, provided they have experience working with mobile application data.

Responsibilities

  • Independently build predictive models from scratch, primarily for LTV and ROAS, as well as revenue, traffic payback, retention, and user value;
  • Select appropriate statistical approaches, validate prediction accuracy, and improve models based on new data;
  • Analyze mobile user behavior, cohorts, retention, segmentation, acquisition costs, and monetization;
  • Evaluate User Acquisition performance, traffic quality, and campaign profitability;
  • Turn analytical findings into recommendations for marketing and product teams;
  • Automate recurring analysis, model updates, and reporting using Python and SQL;
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and clear explanations of model results, assumptions, and limitations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical role;
  • Hands-on experience working with product, user, or marketing data from mobile applications;
  • Proven experience independently building and validating predictive or forecasting models from scratch;
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling;
  • Solid SQL skills for extracting and analyzing large datasets;
  • Strong knowledge of applied statistics and mathematical modeling;
  • Ability to select an appropriate modeling approach and evaluate its performance using relevant validation and error metrics;
  • Understanding of LTV and ROAS and the ability to apply predictive modeling approaches to these metrics;
  • Ability to explain complex analytical results and their business impact clearly.

Bonus points for

  • Experience in mobile GameDev or Free-to-Play products;
  • Previous experience building predictive LTV, ROAS, revenue, or payback models;
  • Experience with AppsFlyer, Adjust, or other mobile attribution platforms;
  • Understanding of mobile monetization models, including In-App Purchases, Ad Monetization, and subscriptions;
  • Experience working with raw event-level data, BI tools, or A/B testing.
